 Crest of Darkness have worked with their new album over a pretty long period of time, but the band will finally finish the album this month. There are a few persons who have been very important for the result this time, and the band must express their gratitude to this entusiasthic "maniacs" who are always giving them a helping hand.
 First of all MLP Studio and Nils Harald Mæhlum must be mentioned. Nils Harald has been a part of the "cult" since the first mini-CD was released in 96; -both as drummer, engineer, and producer.
Ove Husemon (engineer) is another person who has to be given credit for all the hours he has spent together with the band under the recordings. This young talented man has becomed a very important member of the team!!
 Gunleik Ask Fjellseth who can best be described as "the fourth member of the band" has also taken "his part" in the studio this time. He worked as an engineer when Akke played the rhythm-guitars. Gunleik has followed the band on all their tours, and beside of doing a great job as a live-soundengineer he has helped the band out of many "crazy situations".

"Welcome to my world! Welcome to the inner space of my mind!" .....This is the first vocal-lines you will hear on the new album -EVIL KNOWS EVIL- from Crest of Darkness. The song is called "Chapter One", and other songtitles are: "As a Part of Your Universe", "Cosmic Terror", and "From the Shadows". The recordings are now more or less finnished, and the album will be mixed later this month. It's too early yet talking about a releasedate of the album, but the band are considering to give you a few seconds pre-listening of a couple of selected songs on this site. Very soon it will also come up a new report from the studio (including pictures)on this site!!!!!

Crest of Darkness will finnish the recordings of their forthcomming album within 2-3 weeks. Ingar Amlien says: "This is with no doubt the darkest and most agressive piece of work we've ever made! Thanks to Akke and Kjetil -our new excellent drummmer- I feel that Crest of Darkness has taken a big step forward in the world of extreme metal!"

Even though it has been silent here for a while a lot is happening. This webpage will change soon both in content and design.
The band is now preparing for going to studio early october, and we will try to keep you updated on the progress here on this site. Stay tuned.
